This is my example of the Japanese Army Type 98 “Kou” Magnetic Compass produced by Tokyo Koku Keiki. This compass type was used in a variety of IJAAF aircraft including the famous Ki-43 Hayabusa 隼 (Peregrine Falcon) “Oscar”, Ki-61 Hien 飛燕 (Flying Swallow) “Tony”, Ki-84 Hayate 疾風 (Gale) “Frank” and more.
