This is my example of a WWII IJN Japanese Dual Magneto Switch. This type of dual magneto switch was used in twin-engine IJN/IJAAF bombers including the Mitsubishi G4M Hamaki 葉巻 (Cigar/Leaf Roll) “Betty”, Nakajima J1N Gekko 月光 (Moonlight) and the Mitsubishi Ki-46 Dinah. This is an extremely nice example, and these particular versions are becoming ever so more difficult to find. All switch functionality is perfect, along with most of the white paint still present in the text inlay. This particular example is anchor stamped on the data plate making it most likely to have come from a twin-engine IJN aircraft such as a G4M or a J1N. It is currently the only example of a Japanese magneto switch I have in my collection, so I am very happy to have obtained it for a very reasonable price.
